Fall The University of West Alabama wranglers took
part in the 34th annual Murray State University College Rodeo at
the Murray State Expo Center over the weekend with both the
men’s and women’s teams claiming fifth place.

Rodeo Showdown
The University of West Alabama wranglers hosted their UWA
Rodeo Showdown this weekend and the UWA men claimed third with
425 points. Missouri Valley College finished in first with 980
points followed by the University of Tennessee at Martin with
605 points.

UWA Set to Host UWA Rodeo
Showdown The University
of West Alabama wranglers will host the UWA Rodeo Showdown
Thursday, Oct. 22 through Saturday, Oct. 24 at the Don C. Hines
Rodeo Complex on the UWA campus. Events start at 7:30 p.m. every
night. Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children six
years of age and under.

Poole Leads UWA at Trojan
Stampede The University
of West Alabama wranglers competed in the Trojan Stampede on the
campus of Troy University this past weekend. The UWA men
finished in seventh with 220 points as the UWA women also
finished in seventh with 45 points.

Season at MVC
The University of West Alabama wranglers opened its 2009-2010
season at the
Missouri Valley
College Rodeo Stampede. The UWA men finished fourth with 350
points while the UWA women finished with 140 points in fifth.

Qualify For CNFR At UTM Rodeo
The University of West Alabama wranglers concluded the 2008-09
regular season at the University of Tennessee at Martin with the
men and women finishing in fifth place. The UWA men grabbed 345
points and the women accumulating 115 points.

The University of West Alabama wranglers competed in the
Northwest Mississippi Community College rodeo over the weekend
with the UWA men finishing in third, totaling 435 points. The
UWA women finished sixth with 90 points.

wranglers returned to competition this weekend, taking part in
the University of Arkansas at Monticello rodeo. The UWA women
finished fourth with 165 points, while the UWA men finished in
sixth with 290 points.

wranglers took part in two rodeos over the weekend at Murray
State University. The wrangler women finished second in first
rodeo with a fifth place finish in the second rodeo. The UWA men
finished seventh in the opening rodeo and improved their
standing in the second rodeo with a sixth place finish.

Troy Rodeo
The University of West Alabama wranglers pulled double duty this
weekend participating in two rodeos on the campus of Troy
University. In the opening rodeo, the UWA men finished seventh
with the women in eighth. In the second rodeo, the women placed
second, as the men came in fourth.

on the Livingston campus. The wrangler men finished sixth, while
the wrangler women finished eighth.

at SAU; Hedrick Wins All-Around Cowgirl Award
The University of West
Alabama wranglers participated in their second rodeo of the
2008-09 season with the UWA women finishing in third place with
280 points and the men finishing in sixth with 200 points.
Lauren Hedrick received the All-Around Cowgirl Award.
