Emily Nalls

Emily
Nalls enters second season as a Graduate
Assistant at West Alabama. Nalls, a native
of Fayette, Ala., played for the Tigers from
2004-006. During the 2004-05 season, Nalls
appeared in 26 games, including 12 starts.
She averaged 7.2 points per game and shot
52.7 percent from the floor, while averaging
4.2 rebounds a night and totaled 22 steals
and 15 assists. In her last season at UWA, Nalls started
in 21 games, while appearing in 29. She
averaged 10.1 points (second on the team
behind Veronica Lee's 11.9) and 6.7
rebounds.
Prior to coming to UWA, Nalls played for
Head Coach Madonna Thompson at Shelton State
Community College, appearing in 30 games,
all starts, for the Lady Bucs as a
sophomore.
Nalls is the daughter of Steve and Kathleen
Nalls. She has three sisters, Stacey, Nikkey
and Shenne. Nalls received her degree
in sociology work in December of 2006.
She is currently working on her masters
degree in physical education and is on track
for graduation in the spring of 2008.
