Pedrosa Paces Tigers Past CBU To Earn Split On Day One At UAH Invite                                                        Behind a career-best 23 kills by junior Ana Gabriela Pedrosa in the nightcap against Christian Brothers University, the University of West Alabama volleyball team earned a hard fought split at the University of Alabama in Huntsville Invitational on Friday.  UWA dropped a 3-1 decision to the University of Puerto Rico Rio Piedras in the afternoon and closed out the day with a 3-1 victory over CBU.  More

UWA Cruises Past UAM In Home Debut                                                        The University of West Alabama volleyball team opened the 2008 portion of the home schedule with a 3-0 sweep of the visiting Cotton Blossoms of the University of Arkansas at Monticello on Thursday evening at Pruitt Hall.  The UAM tilt also marked the home debut of first year head volleyball coach Nathan Baker.  More

UWA Volleyball Drops A Pair To Close Out The UWF Comfort Inn-vitational    The University of West Alabama volleyball team dropped a pair of 3-1 affairs on the final day of the University of West Florida’s Comfort Inn-vitational on Saturday.  UWA fell to Florida Tech in the afternoon session and dropped a match to St. Joseph’s (Ind.) to close out the weekend.  The Tigers finished the season-opening weekend with a 2-2 mark.  More
