LIVINGSTON, Ala. -- University of West Alabama
Director of Athletics E. J. Brophy announced Friday a three-year corporate
agreement with UNICEL, one of the premiere wireless communication entities
in the United States.
“We here at UWA are very delighted to be partnered with
such a first class organization in UNICEL”, Brophy said. “This partnership
will provide our coaches and key athletic administrators access to great
wireless service and products, which will in turn help all of us do our jobs
more efficiently.”
The agreement includes major athletic sponsorship from
UNICEL, vast exposure for UNICEL at UWA sporting events, various advertising
opportunities in UWA athletic publications, exposure via television and
radio broadcasts, and permanent signage displayed at various athletic
venues.
“We want to be as good as we can as quickly as we can
here at UWA,” Brophy stated. “This agreement is a big step towards that
end”.
UNICEL has numerous locations in the western Alabama
and eastern Mississippi areas, including Demopolis, Selma (Ala.),
Starkville, Tupelo, Oxford and Columbus (Miss.).
