LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The
University of West Alabama tennis teams got
back into the win column Wednesday afternoon
with 7-2 victories over Mississippi College
at the Howard R. Vaughan Tennis Complex.
In men’s
action, the team of Mylan Anderson and
Sascha Dresselhaus won their doubles match.
In singles play, Dresselhaus, Denton
Meintjes, Anderson, Brandon Harris, Carlin
Tighe and Erick Duran helped the Tigers got
a sweep.
The West
Alabama women’s team won two doubles matches
as the teams of Adanys Clerch/Amy Cole and
Amy Frazier/Rama Siby each earned victories.
Clerch, Cole, Frazier, Siby and Rachel
Hardaway earned wins in singles play.
The Tiger
women return to action 2:00 p.m. at the
Howard R. Vaughan Tennis Complex to take on
Montevallo.
