Lori Galloway Thornburg was a standout
pitcher/first baseman from 1988-91, leading the Tigers to four consecutive GSC
Championships and an outstanding 145-62 overall record. The Slidell, La., native
was a three-time All-GSC and four-time Academic All-GSC selection and posted one
of the most dramatic pitching performances in UWA history, tossing a no-hitter
