BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The University of West
Alabama placed four student-athletes on the 2007 Spring All-Academic Team
and 26 on the GSC Spring Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the conference
office.
Two student-athletes were selected as unanimous
selections to their sport’s All-Academic Team. Baseball’s Todd Rea, who was
also unanimous selection the 2007 All-GSC First Team, posted a 3.30 in
Chemistry.
Mylan Anderson joined Rea, representing the men’s
tennis team at UWA. Anderson recorded a 3.87 in Business Administration.
Also selected to the All-Academic Team for men’s tennis was Michael Garcia
with a 4.00 in Math.
Amy Frazier, women’s tennis, rounds out the
All-Academic Team performers for the Tigers. Frazier makes the list with
3.90 in Elementary Education.
