LIVINGSTON, Ala. —Thursday’s
softball doubleheader between West Alabama and Kentucky
State has been canceled due to rain in the Frankfort,
Ky. area. The two squads were scheduled to get underway
at 1 p.m. CST on the KSU campus. UWA opened the six day
spring break trip with a split Missouri University of
Science & Technology in Williamsburg, Ky. on Wednesday.
The Red and White won the night cap 4-1 over the Miners
of M S&T.
The Tigers will jump back into GSC
activity on Saturday, March 29 against top-ranked
Alabama in Huntsville. UWA will close out the road trip
against North Alabama on Sunday, March 30. The
UWA-UAH tilt is set for Noon on Saturday.
Prior to leaving the Louisville, Ky.
area, the squad will tour the Louisville Slugger Museum
on Friday morning.
