The rodeo hosted 16 teams from the Ozark Region with approximately 250 participants.

“I would like to thank the City of Livingston, the University, and our sponsors for their continued support of our rodeo,” said Head Coach Chad Phipps. “We had good crowds all three nights and good support from our home fans.”

Lauren Hedrick picked up 20 points in the breakaway roping for the UWA women with 10 points in the second round and 10 points in the average. Hedrick finished in ninth. Deanna Mixon garnered 50 points in the barrel racing with 30 in the second round and 20 in the average. Mixon finished in fifth in the barrel racing.

“We didn’t have our best rodeo, but we’ve still got seven rodeos to improve upon,” Phipps continued. “We are not out of competing for the National Finals, but we need to improve.”
