MARTIN, Tenn. –
The University of West Alabama
wranglers concluded the 2008-09
regular season at the University
of Tennessee at Martin with the
men and women finishing in fifth
place. The UWA men grabbed 345
points and the women
accumulating 115 points.
Justin
Caylor and Cristi Heisman each
qualified for the National
Collegiate Finals Rodeo. Caylor
is ranked third in the Ozark
Region in the saddle bronc
riding, while Heisman is ranked
third in the region in
goat-tying.
Caylor
(Andalusia, Ala.) finished
second at UTM in saddle bronc
riding with 125 points, 40
points out of first place.
Austin Davis finished in a tie
for 1st in the steer
wrestling, gathering 150 points.
Alex Caudle finished in third
with 70 points in the steer
wrestling. Heisman finished in a
tie for second in the goat tying
with 115 points.
UWA is
holding “Man vs. Beast” on Apr.
24 and 25 at the UWA Don C.
Hines Rodeo Complex at 7:30 p.m.
