TROY, Ala. – The University of West
Alabama wranglers pulled double duty
this weekend participating in two rodeos
on the campus of Troy University. In the
opening rodeo, the UWA men finished
seventh with the women in eighth. In the
second rodeo, the women placed second,
as the men came in fourth.
Justin
Caylor finished first in the saddle
bronc riding in both rodeos. Daniel
Poole finished second in bull riding in
the second rodeo.
Cristi
Heisman won the goat tying in the second
rodeo. Lauren Hedrick finished fifth in
the breakaway roping in the first rodeo
and sixth in the second rodeo. Deanna
Mixon finished fifth in the barrel
racing in the second rodeo.
West
Alabama returns to action on Thursday,
Nov. 20 in the rodeo at Murray State.
The four day event will be split into
two rodeos.
