2007: Played in nine games a season ago for UWA … Tallied 14 total tackles on the season, including a season-high four against North Alabama (11/10/07) … Finished with eight solo take downs, three coming in the UNA tilt … Posted a tackle for loss versus Valdosta State (10/20/07) … Registered two solo tackles in the season opener with Samford along with recovering two fumbles in the contest.

Prior to UWA: Played at Western Kentucky University for one year … Participated in six contests, posting three total tackles ... Recorded a pair of stops (including one solo) in win at Indiana State, adding an assist at No. 19 Youngstown State in the Toppers’ Gateway Football Conference finale ... Sat out as a redshirt his true freshman year.

Prep: Prepped at Hoover High School…While at Hoover High School he helped his team to Regional North Champions in 2001, and won back to back 6A State Championship in 2002 and 2003. While in High School he was chosen North-South Football Game, Alabama.-Mississippi All Star Game, 2003 Second Team Birmingham News All Metro-Athlete Defense, Super Prep All Southeast Fullback, and won the Hoover Buc Orange Crush Award for Defense.
