2007: Played in six games at the quarterback position … Threw for 319 yards and with a 50-percent completion percentage … Threw for a career-high, 102 yards with a touchdown at North Alabama on November 10 … Also amassed 41 yards rushing with a touchdown last season.

Prior to UWA: Played basketball at Freed- Hardemann University.

Prep: Prepped at Red Bay High School… While at Red Bay High School in 2003 his team won Regional Title and in 2004 he was Runner-Up for the Mizeman Trophy. In 2005, his team won Regional Title and he won the Mizeman Trophy and was 2A Athlete of the Year and All State QB and DB and Times Daily 1A-3A Player of the Year.
