LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The
University of West Alabama
women’s basketball team looks to
return to the win column on
Saturday, December 8th,
as the Tigers host Martin
Methodist in the second game of
a three-game homestand at Pruitt
Hall. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.
UWA (1-4)
is led by Ashton Washington, who
paces the Red and White in
points and rebounds for the
season. The Lexington,
Miss.-native is averaging 18.8
points and 7.6 boards a contest.
This marks
the second meeting between the
RedHawks and Tigers, as the two
met earlier this season in
Pulaski, Tenn. MMC edged out UWA
61-59 on the RedHawks home
floor.
West
Alabama will close out the
three-game homestand on
Wednesday, December 12th,
as the Tigers will host Georgia
Southwestern before traveling to
Cleveland, Miss to take part in
the Lloyd Clark Classic on the
Delta State campus. UWA will
face host DSU at 6 p.m. on
Monday, December 17th
and will close out the
tournament in a 4 p.m. meeting
against North Georgia on
Tuesday, December 18th.
