DALLAS, Texas – Rob Dahlberg continues to add to his post season awards collection, as the University of West Alabama baseball player was named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Division II All-American Third Team.

This marks the third All-American honor this season for the Gilbertown, Ala.-native, as earlier this week he was named to the 2008 Daktronics All-America Baseball Team and the American Baseball Coaches Association All-American Team.

Dahlberg, a junior third baseman, was named the 2008 GSC East Division Player of the Year along with receiving being named All-GSC for the third time. Dahlberg was also named to the Daktronics, Inc. Baseball All-South Central Region and the Rawlings/American Baseball Coaches Association All-South Central Region First Team, while leading the Red and White in seven offensive categories.

West Alabama concluded the season with a 45-13 record, tying the school record for wins earned the program’s sixth berth in an NCAA Regional.
