TUCSON,
Ariz. – The University of West Alabama
baseball team fell to #13 in Collegiate
Baseball Newspaper Poll, as released by the
publication Monday afternoon. The Tigers
currently stand at 45-10 on the season.
Mount
Olive remains the top team in the poll
followed by Delta State at #2 and Tampa in
third. Emporia State jumps two spots to
fourth with Abilene Christian falling back
one spot to fifth to round out the top five.
Other notables from the NCAA
Division II South Central Region are
Southern Arkansas in seventh with Valdosta
State in a tie for 11th with
California State-Chico. Ouachita Baptist
rounds out the region schools in the top 30
at 21st. St. Edward’s, Montevallo
and St. Mary’s all received votes.
